Brule

Back by popular demand, Brule will perform periodically each day of the Festival. Brule has become one of the top-selling Native American recording artists with more than a million CDs sold worldwide. With national appearances on Regis and Kathie Lee, CNN Worldbeat, QVC, A&E Biography, and others, Brule has come of age. In 2007 through 2008, PBS aired "Concert for Reconciliation of the Cultures" which was filmed at Mt. Rushmore National Park. Awards include: 1999 "Outstanding Musical Achievement Award" by The First Americans in the Arts and from the Native American Music Awards: 2002 "Group of the Year" and "Best Instrumental Recording" for Star People, 2003 "Best Instrumental Recording" for Night Tree by Nicole with Brule, 2006 "Group of the Year" for AIRO: Tatanka, and "Best Compilation Recording" Brule's The Collection; 2007 "Group of the Year" for Silent Star Night and "Best New Age Recording" for Kinship.
