Street Railway Company Jazz Band The Street Railway Company Dixieland Band has played as a group since 1985 and includes 7-pieces (cornet, trombone, clarinet, piano, drums, tuba, and banjo). They play traditional New Orleans Dixieland jazz and have twice traveled to Europe to perform in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Spain, including live radio performances in Prague and Valencia. The band performed in 2000 at the Clear Lake Jazz Festival, in 2002 at Joslyn's Jazz on the Green Series, and played continuously at Trovato's Italian Restaurant in Omaha for twenty-two years. The band plays from memory and by improvisation and has performed at many public and private events. |

Nebraska Craft Brewers Association "Meet the Brewers" Beer Session Twenty-three (23) different fresh, small-batch, hand-crafted beers from eight of Nebraska's breweries will be on hand for all three days of the Omaha Summer Arts Festival in the World Music Pavilion. Join us Saturday, June 27th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. as out bartenders step aside and the brewers man the bar to pour their beers, answer questions and otherwise represent the great beers they brew. |
