Celebrating its 14th anniversary and featuring more than 300 pieces of artwork created by Omaha school children in grades six through 12, the Young Artist Exhibition provides a showcase for students to express themselves through individual artistic creativity.
Visit the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery at 11th & Harney and enjoy artwork by local high school students. And don’t miss artwork by students grades 6 through 8 at the W. Dale Clark Library at 14th & Farnam! Students of all skill levels are encouraged to develop their talent and love of expression in preparation for this spectacular display. Senior scholarships, Awards of Merit and school participation awards are presented annually.
Public viewing hours at the Artists' Cooperative Gallery are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27th and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 28th. Public viewing hours at the W. Dale Clark Library are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 26th and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27th. Come support local young artists and take a glimpse of the world perceived through the eyes of the youth!
Special thanks to Young Artist Exhibition Coordinator, Cathy Witt Tichauer, for whom this project is truly a labor of love!
