Omaha Musicians' Association Jazz All-Stars

Vocalist and keyboard player Christine Hitt will kick off the Festival with a refreshingly adventurous blend of jazz standards. Having earned multiple degrees in piano performance, Hitt began performing as a jazz pianist while a member of the USAF Band and is currently the Director of Instrumental Music at Iowa Western Community College. Backing up Hitt will be Ron Cooley on guitar, Mark Luebbe on bass and Joey Gulizia on drums.

Based in Kansas City, this bilingual band's members hail fron Santiago, Panama and Gudalajara.

Albert Castiglia

Albert won the 2009 Blues Blast Award for song of the year "Bad Year Blues" and will have a new release on Blues Leaf Records later this year.

Euforquestra

This 7-piece band out of Fort Collins, CO plays a self-proclaimed "Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk" rhythmic wall of sound, integrating such genres as Afrobeat, Reggae, Afro-Cuban, Samba, Soca, Funk, Salsa and Dub.
