Celebrating its 15th anniversary and featuring more than 300 pieces of artwork created by Omaha school children grades six through 12, the Young Artist Exhibition provides a showcase for students to express themselves though individual creativity.

Public viewing hours at the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery and W. Dale Clark Library are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 26th and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 27th.  Come support local young artists and take a glimpse of the world perceived through the eyes of the youth!

The Young Artist Exhibition is presenting the "Teacher of the Year" award to Kim Cooper who has taught at Omaha North High School for 35 years and is retiring this year.
And special thanks to Young Artist Exhibition Coordinator, Cathy Witt, who has been with this project from the very beginning. For 15 years, she has shared her vision, her spirit and countless hours of her time to make the Omaha Summer Arts Festival’s Young Artist Exhibition a show for every student who wants to share their love of art.
