The ARTery / Dancing Classrooms Omaha presents the Scholarship Dancers

Through standards based, in school residencies, The ARTery uses the vocabulary of ballroom dance to cultivate the positive feelings that are inherent in every child. The maturity necessary to dance together fosters teamwork, confidence and a sense of joy and accomplishment. Ballroom dance is an ideal medium for nurturing these qualities. The Scholarship Dancers have chosen to continue their dance training through the Saturday Scholarship program. They progress from where they finished their training in the classroom setting through classes which are offered free of charge thanks to a generous grant from the Sherwood Foundation.
