Volunteers
The Omaha Summer Arts Festival relies on more than 150 volunteers who contribute their time, talent and experience to help make the event a success each year.

If you’re looking for a fun way to get involved and support the arts in downtown Omaha, we are always looking for energetic, dedicated people to act as local ambassadors as they help in a variety of ways, including:
- Artist Concierge Services: Includes assisting artists with load-in and load-out, booth sitting, artwork delivery, running errands, providing water, snack and lunch delivery to the artists’ booths and staffing the artists’ lounge.
- Children’s Fair: Help provide hands-on crafts, decorate the Children’s fair, staff the information booth, sell activity tickets and volunteer in the Toddler Tent.
- Young Artist Exhibition: Held in two locations, volunteers greet guests, hand out programs and monitor artwork.
- World Music Pavilion: Check ID, wristband, sell and pour a variety of beverages. Must be 21 to volunteer in the World Music Pavilion.
- Luigi Waites World Music Stage: Help backstage as bands load-in and load-out and help maintain performers lounge.
Our volunteers really make it happen, and we would love to have you join our team! All we ask is a minimum commitment of two (2) three-hour shifts over the three-day weekend (June 10, 11 and 12, 2010) and you will receive a free T-shirt, a coupon for a free lunch and a lifetime of memories. Click the button below to sign up!

If you would like more information, or if you are ready to join the Summer Arts Festival Volunteer Team, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Cory McGinn at SAFintern@vgagroup.com or (402) 345.5401 ext. 109.
