Rachel Rose and Seth Dillon Dazey use traditional Silver-smithing to connect people to moments of inspiration like the subtle texture of a stone or a passing bird through heirloom jewelry. Techniques such as reticulation, engraving and forging create textures evocative of nature. Every piece is fabricated and finished by hand. Traditional does not necessarily mean conventional; much of their work is influenced by the Art-Deco style of their hometown, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bold, geometric shapes and machine finishes compliment the asymmetrical inspiration of the natural world to create balanced and beautiful artwork.
